Microgaming Poker Network set to offer new UCOP events this month

The Microgaming Poker Network (MPN), the online poker network of Microgaming, is set to bring back the popular UCOP tournament series this month with the UCOP Passport and the UCOP Mini. Offering a ton of events and lots of cash, the series is already back in action and will continue through early February.

112 Events:

The UCOP tournament series will have a whopping 112 poker events on the schedule. A total of €500,000 will be guaranteed across the UCOP Passport and the UCOP Mini. Players can participate from now until February 10th, with the UCOP Passport featuring a leaderboard, set to offer €10,000 in prizes across all UCOP Events from January 27th until February 10th.

The number one player on the leaderboard will earn an amazing trip, set to earn not one, not two, but THREE MPN Poker Tour packages. This prize has a value of €4,500 plus an additional €550 in online tournament tickets. The winner will be given entry into the main event and one side event, plus accommodations and cash for travel expenses.

The winners of any event during the UCOP Passport will automatically qualify for the Tournament of Champions. This event will take place on February 17th and will provide an MPN Poker Tour package.

According to Microgaming…

The Managing Director of Poker, Alex Scott, commented on both series by stating: “The MPN have gone global with this newest iteration of UCOP. Building on the amazing success of our biggest ever tournament series last year, we’re giving players on our network the chance to experience the exhilarating thrills and luxury of our MPN Poker Tour festivals. For any live poker aficionado this is a dream ticket, and we look forward to welcoming the lucky winners along.”

UCOP Mini:

Also taking place now is the UCOP Mini. This smaller series started on the 13th as well and will continue for a shorter time frame, through the 27th of January. The series will provide the same format as the Passport series, but with buy-ins and guarantees set a 1/10 the size. Players will be able to take part in the UCOP Mini as the series will include buy-ins ranging from €0.55 to €320.

Players can qualify for the UCOP Mini and the UCOP Passport by taking part in satellites that are on offer at MPN poker rooms. Participating poker rooms will offer these satellites 24 hours a day, so there will always be satellites taking place.
